Bartholomews was established in 1965 by Eric Bartholomew as a Property Management and Estate Agency practice. In 1974 Eric's son Graham qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and joined the firm.

Graham took over the practice fully in 1996 since when the company has specialised in residential property management and surveying.

Our offices are based in the historic market town of Kingston upon Thames and we operate in the surrounding areas of London and the Home Counties.

We are at the fore-front of offering professional expertise to meet the special requirements associated with the management of residential buildings / estates. This has become even more demanding in recent years owing to the introduction of more stringent Health & Safety legislation.

We have wide experience and a detailed knowledge of such legislation which, combined with our highly skilled staff, enables us to offer a comprehensive package combining management, surveying services as well as company secretarial facilities.

Our role as Managing Agents ensures that your interests are fully protected at all times.

We are corporate members of ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) and practice as Chartered Surveyors with the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), operating in full compliance with the requirements of both codes.

Bartholomews has also been approved by the RICS to offer guidance on insurance matters insofar as they pertain to the management of buildings.

GRAHAM BARTHOLOMEW FRICS - PROPRIETOR & MANAGING DIRECTOR
As Managing Director of the practice, Graham has extensive experience both abroad and in the United Kingdom and commenced practice in Kingston in 1977. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Graham specialises in valuations particularly assisting clients with Collective Enfranchisement and Lease Extension matters.

COLIN DAVIES BSc. Hons - HEAD OF ACCOUNTS & OPERATIONS
Colin has been with Bartholomews since 1988. Colin has overall responsibility for managing our client accounts. In the period Colin has been with the company, he has acquired in-depth knowledge of our clients and the estates we manage and in addition to his accountancy knowledge, has extensive experience dealing with block management and residential management issues generally.

LEON HUNTER AIRPM - HEAD OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Leon joined Bartholomews in July 2007 as the Senior Estates Manager and has subsequently been promoted to Head of Management Services. Leon has acquired a high level of property / estate management experience during his career, and has qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Managers (AIRPM). Leon is responsible for the day-to-day management of a select portfolio of our larger estates and generally oversees the management of every development under our management through management of the Property Management team.

PAUL WELLS - COMPANY SECRETARIAL SERVICE MANAGER
Paul joined the practice in April 1997 and leads our Company Secretarial Service department. Paul ensures that all aspects of the service are carried out to a high standard including filing the required Companies House forms, maintaining the company register, preparing and issuing share certificates and the preparation and issuing of notices for Annual General Meetings.

LINDA HEWETT LLB Dip RSA - INSURANCE & LEGAL SERVICES MANAGER
Linda joined Bartholomews in 1990 and leads our Insurance and Legal Services Department. Linda's department oversee all buildings insurance issues / claims as well as dealing with all pre-sale/purchase and re-mortgage enquiries. Linda has extensive experience dealing with most legal issues in relation to property management and can be relied upon to give clear, reliable advice.

GREG COX FRICS.Dip.VAL.FBEng.Dip.Surv.(Bldg)MCI.Arb.Dip.MS - SENIOR SURVEYOR
Greg is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor and Chartered Building Surveyor and has been in private practice for over 25 years, working with Bartholomews since 2005. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Greg specialises in valuations, building surveys, dilapidations, drawings and specifications, party wall matters, planned maintenance programs, refurbishment and defect investigation and expert evidence.
